Responsibilities:
Keep all Kitchen areas/ equipment clean according to the standards set by the Management.
Clean glassware, cutlery, crockery/equipment, etc.
Clean all cold rooms/ clean all pots, pans, pot wash areas, canopies, and fillers/ Clean, sweep, and mop all areas of the kitchen using the proper use of chemicals.
Minimizing breakages when handling crockery and glasses.
Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary.
Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
Wash, Wipe, Sort, stack, and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner.
Ensure the waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chief.
Clean, sanitize, and close workstations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a steward.
Ability to communicate in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tables at once.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates.
Team player with a positive and proactive mindset.
