Tech Lead – Systems Administrator

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Design, plan, and implement new systems and infrastructure components to meet the organization's needs and goals. Ensure the company infrastructure reliability
• Develop new installations and maintain (Linux, Windows, Anti malware, Firewall etc...)
• Discuss the issues and new implementations with Top management
• Troubleshooting server-related issues
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, evaluating their performance and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the organization's data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
• Do the pen test frequently to check the vulnerabilities and suggest new implementations
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of system ' configurations, procedures, and policies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and capacity, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field;
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in system administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, macOS), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience in Azure or any other Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and equipment.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for system configuration and management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
