SAP Support Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

· Responsible in managing company’s SAP ERP system

· To lead and improve the organisation use SAP ERP system to an optimum manner.

· Manage and guide SAP key users on administrating SAP System.

· Communicate with external parties to provide support in operational matters.

· Ensure the compliance of the site with company in SAP and to support the improvement.

· Maintain the parameters, static tables and roles according to Company guidelines.

· Execute & control all changes in the system.

· Analyze the incident, research solutions and provide solid answers easily understood by customers and SAP system users.

· Troubleshooting complex problems and provide the best available solution or workaround within the agreed service levels .

· Liaising with Engineering, Product Management & Operations organizations to resolve bugs and missing product functionality for future releases.

· Benchmark on new developments and best-practice in the ERP market.

Requirements:

· Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Computer Science.

· Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.

· Good working experience in the use of ERP Application SAP or BaaN, preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Programming knowledge in ERP Application Programming or other 4GL language will be an added advantage.

· Fluency in communication to a business standard.

· Familiarity with general IT concepts, business terms and processes 

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ready for continuous learning and improvement.

· Strong communication skills (Fluency in communication to a business standards) .

· Self-organized with focus on quality.  

· Good working knowledge on data analysis.
