Assistant Manager – Finance

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Effectively manage cash flows and supervise financial transaction within and outside of the company. 
  • Prepare the annual budget based on Organizational goals and review regularly. 
  • Safeguarding the company assets and suggest proper internal controls. 
  • Handle all the tax matters and maintain accurate records with IRD 
  • Prepare monthly, weekly presentations to the management, board and other forums. 
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Management reports, CSE reports and to other regulatory bodies. 
  • Prepare strategic and long term business plans in support of the General Manager and the board of directors. 
  • Review all pre and post costing in order to review margins of products lines. 
  • Leading the budget and monthly / quarterly forecast process, consolidating and reporting. 
  • Supporting product costing of existing product portfolio as well as new product development. 
  • Monitoring and analyzing actual results against individual cost centers as well as business sector. 

Requirements :

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Finance department and 3 years’ experience in similar role 
  • Completed Professional Qualification from a recognized institute. (CA / CIMA/ACCA) 
  • Previous experienced in ERP system (SAP) will be added advantage. 
  • Local O/L 8 passes with ‘A’ pass for Mathematics and 3 passes for A/L’s. 
  • Computer literacy in MS OFFICE package 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Confident communication with the ability to manage multiple tasks. 
  • Willingness to work extra hours
