To be a part of our team, we are looking for a Business Development Manager that will help us expand our customer base and become a recognized service provider globally. The right candidate can easily understand and connect customers with the right service and map out the direction of growth for the company. With a look into market insights and data, they can better organize the path forward and reach new heights in the industry.
Key Roles:
You will report to the COO of the company and work with a team to develop existing and new clients for the company base.
You will build a strategic sales plan for the company and develop the required leads to gain clientele.
You will need to have a deep understanding of the market and target prospects.
You will be tasked with sales planning and delivering sales results with the support of the BD and marketing team.
Responsibilities include:
Building and executing new business development strategies after identifying the relevant target markets.
Identifying and engaging with new clients - thereby developing relevant business proposals catering to their exact needs.
Working closely with an assigned set of existing customers to ensure ROI and subsequent continuation of services.
Achieving revenue targets, proactively responding to inbound inquiries and self-generated leads based on a deep market and product understanding.
Ensuring that Envoy Ortus is positively positioned in terms of marketing and branding to ensure the development of the business.
Reporting accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure that the company's capabilities and solutions are showcased across relevant events and media.
Planning and assisting marketing strategies with relevant key personals (internal).
Attending industry-relevant events.
Understand and evaluate the competition to benchmark the company's growth and development.
Be aware of different Development tools that will help in lead discovery and client management.
Position Requirements:
4+ years’ experience in a similar position.
A proven track record in new business, can identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential.
Confidence in articulating business plans and experience in creating proposals for clients.
Good working knowledge of business strategy and implementation.
Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
An understanding or experience in handling business development tools such as Hunter.io, Mailchimp, or related platforms.
