search engine results rankings.
Perform ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion
of keyword opportunities
Own the Technical SEO to ensure that the website meets the
latest technical SEO recommendations.
Work closely with the content team to ensure
the implementation of the best SEO practices.
Track and monitor the website ranking for the target
keywords and implement the required optimizations to scale the website ranking
and visibility.
Manage and plan
high-quality and white-hat backlink-building campaigns.
Implement all
elements of Technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, rendering and website
architecture.
Maximize organic traffic growth, ensuring that the latest
SEO techniques and recommendations are correctly and consistently implemented.
Monitor daily SEO and organic traffic performance metrics.
Collaborate with
other departments.
Train the content
team and editors on the best SEO practices
Set and manage SEO reporting dashboards.
Requirements:
3 years of experience in successfully developing and
executing SEO strategies.
Experience with google news and news websites would be an
advantage.
Experience with
enterprise SEO and ASO.
Advanced level of
understanding and experience (3+ years) in the technical SEO area (HTML, js,
CSS, xml, ajax, server-side/client-side rendering, etc.).
A strong
understanding of technical SEO (sitemaps, crawl budget, canonicalization, web
core vitals, Schema.org, etc.).
Extensive experience
(and proficiency) with Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.
Up to date with the latest algorithm updates and SEO trends.
Excellent problem
solving and analytical skills with the ability to dig extensively into metrics
and analytics.
Comfortable analyzing
high volumes of data daily.
Familiarity with content management systems.
Experience with other
aspects of digital growth.
Effective (efficient
and clear) cross-functional communicator.
