Manage the fashion designing department by giving Instructions, scheduling & assigning tasks, and following up on work results. Also ensure that designs and creative projects/work are delivered on time.
Working with designers to ensure that designs will be affordable and desired by the target market and analyzing every aspect of bestsellers and ensuring that they reach their full potential.
Developing different collections & planning product ranges throughout the year that must be trend-led in conjunction with the ion designers &purchasing team.
Analyzing pervious seasonal sales/trends and reporting on the current seasonal collections/forecasts and ensuring proper stock control is adhered to in collaboration with the purchasing department.
Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance the parent brand and all sub-brands through an effective strategy.
Ensure fashion trends and recommendations on styles are made aware to management and the purchasing team to ensure style conscious products are purchased for seasonal and off-seasonal periods.
Requirements :
Should have a degree or equivalent qualification in fashion designing from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Must be creative & have a strong fashion sense to keep up with the ever-changing trends of the fashion industry.
Proficient in sketching and preferably in design tools such as CAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
